More and more people are jumping on the sushi bandwagon.
Knowing that the sushi market is booming, a dessert chain in Japan called Mister Donut has created a line of sushi-themed sweet donuts.
The donuts, named SushiDo are currently only being offered in stores throughout Thailand.
They are getting quite a bit of attention online after a Twitter user in Japan recently discovered the treats and a domino effect of sorts resulted, with thousands of people re-tweeting the posted photo.
The pastries have actually been available for some time, but they weren’t so commonly known until social media helped spread the word.
Although the taste is all donut, the appearance is completely reflective of sushi. The tops of the treats are decorated to look like yellow fin tuna, salmon row, tamago or seaweed. They lay on top of a frosting bed, which takes the place of traditional rice.
Many web users are urging SushiDo to make them available in other countries.
What do you think? Are you game for SushiDo?
