The SW1 postcode district covers the areas of Central London on the north bank of the River Thames, generally between Hungerford Bridge and Chelsea Bridge. It includes Pimlico, Belgravia and parts of Westminster, Brompton and St James. It contains Whitehall, Westminster Abbey, House of Parliament, Downing Street, the Tate Gallery and Dolphin Square.
