The world's rich economies say they will take a tougher stance on fighting money laundering and tax evasion.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron says the group of eight leaders signed up for a list of aims including improving the transparency of who owns companies and deepening information-sharing between tax authorities.

Cameron has been stung by revelations that big multinationals like Starbucks and Google have cut their corporate tax bills in Britain using legal loopholes.

He's announced new domestic rules to combat tax evasion - by forcing shadowy shell companies to reveal who really runs them.
