46-year-old Roger Brown awoke and discovered his foot was covered in blood. Two toes were missing and Brown’s 6-month-old pit-bull was the culprit.

A man in Indiana was hospitalized due to an odd incident involving his puppy. According to police, 46-year-old Roger Brown awoke and discovered his foot was covered in blood.

Both his pinky and big toe were completely gone. And Brown’s 6-month-old pit-bull was the culprit.

Evidently, the puppy had chewed a portion of his owner’s foot while he slept. Brown puts the blame entirely on himself. His foot had an open sore on it.

Brown stated “Because I didn't have it completely wrapped, he smelled it and decided to take a bite. And because I didn't say anything he kept going.”

The dog also ate part of the ball of his foot down to the bone.

Following the bizarre occurrence, Brown was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors removed half of the foot.

Despite all the trouble, Brown vows to keep Bo and continue raising the puppy. He wants to get the dog back from Clay County sheriff's deputies who have quarantined Bo.
