Today in the (South) Moluccas people raise RMS flags to show
their sympathy with Independence. The only thing is they can't
do this every day or moment because the Indonesian police is searching
for flagraisers and when they do get caught they are often beaten
and tortured. They get 10 to 20 years in jail for raising the Benang raja flag or simply the Rainbow flag (RMS) Republik Maluku Selatan or Republic of South Moluccas.
