Netanyahu opens Holocaust exhibition at Auschwitz museum

STORY: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened a new permanent Holocaust exhibition at the Auschwitz Museum, site of the World War II Nazi death camp, on Thursday.

The display located in prisoner Block 27 is titled "Shoah" and reflects a broader context of the Nazi attempt to wipe out Europe's Jewish population.

It was curated, designed and built by the Yad Vashem institute, in coordination with the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.

At a ceremony marking the new exhibition, Netanyahu warned against threats to Israel from other nations.
