The San Antonio Spurs take the 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals after a 113-77 home victory against the Miami Heat as a -2 point betting favorite. The over under line landed at over 187 ½ points.

The Spurs opened up the game in the second half as they held a six point lead after 24 minutes. In the final 24 minutes of the game the Spurs outscored the Heat by a 63-33 margin. A late development shortly after the game Spurs point guard Tony Parker complained of a possible hamstring injury as he was limping in the locker room and will be having an MRI prior to game four. San Antonio as we saw in game three is a very efficient offensive team as they rank in the top five of the NBA in all four critical areas which are points per game, field goal, three point and free throw shooting. The Spurs big three of Ginobili, Duncan and Parker combined for 25 of the Spurs 113 points. The San Antonio supporting cast scored 78% of the Spurs points in game three.

The Heat shot just 40.8% from the field and converted on 8 of 18 three pointers. Miami got to the free throw line just 10 times and made 7 shots. Expect LeBron James to be more aggressive in game four and try and draw fouls near the basket.

James had 15 points and 11 rebounds on 7 of 21 shooting and no free throw attempts. Dwyane Wade scored 16 points and dished out five assists on 7 of 15 shooting. Chris Bosh had 12 points on 4 of 10 from the floor. For the third straight game of this series Bosh, Wade or James failed at making at least half of their shots. The Heat supporting cast had over 60% of the points in game two and in game three they contributed with just 44% of the scoring. Mario Chalmers the hero in game two had zero points in game three.
