Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane has undergone emergency surgery for a blood clot on the brain. The band has canceled three sold-out concerts in the U.S. following Dwane's surgery. The group posted a message on their website saying that he's receiving excellent care and is expected to recover quickly. Their next scheduled appearance is in Tennessee on June 15.
Jane Lynch and her wife are divorcing after three years of marriage. The "Glee" star and clinical psychologist Lara Embry married in Massachusetts in 2010. Lynch released a statement to People magazine, asking for privacy as they deal with the matter.
Ringo Starr is writing a children's book. The former Beatle announced that he's creating a picture book based on his Beatles hit "Octopus's Garden." The book will come with a CD which includes an exclusive reading by Starr and a never-before-heard version of the song. It's due out in October.
