Over the past 24 hours a fierce battle has been raging for the last government controlled airbase in Aleppo, Syria.
Rebels claim that Hezbollah fighters have reached Aleppo and are fighting on behalf of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
At a press conference in the capital Damascus one Syrian opposition group says that all foreign fighters, both pro and anti-government, must leave the country.
The issue of foreign fighters in Syria was thrown in to sharp relief recently following the execution of a teenage boy accused of blasphemy.
