An Australian suspected of child abuse, Karl Joseph Kraus, arrived at a Chiang Mai court on Monday to hear the final verdict.
The 93-year-old has been charged with sexually abusing four sisters aged between seven and 12 years old.
Kraus was arrested by Chiang Mai police in 2010 after the parents of four sisters alleged their children were raped by the suspect.
Thai media said Kraus has been fighting for bail after he was treated for Alzheimer's Disease and cancer.
