1) Hurt glass, leave scratches
(a)When use blade, it don't hurt the glass, there's no scratches on glass. (b)When use laser, the laser can burn the glass, leave a unconspicuous scratches on glass. The scratches donot affect for sandblasting, ice sculpture, etc.
2)Use blade first, then use lase
The laser can be used for secondary operation, deep/further processing. For example: use the blade mode, carve a graphic, use sandblasting(or ice scalpture), now the glass
has been rough, then if you want make other graphic on the graphic you just made, cause the glass is rough by sandblasting, you cannot use the blade mode, it will broke the
needle, so the laser can do it(cause laser ray don't touch the glass). Then use painting or other process. This can make graduated oil painting glass and other more complex,
beautiful art glass
