Lisa Vasiloff’s charity, Birthday Wishes, throws birthday parties for homeless children. She founded the organization 11 years ago, and since has set up over 48 thousand parties.
As you thumb through the mental photo album of your life, chances are you stumble upon a few snapshots of birthday parties.
Not all are so fortunate, and Lisa Vasiloff is working to change that. Her charity, Birthday Wishes, throws birthday parties for homeless children.
She founded the organization 11 years ago, and since has set up over 48 thousand parties.
At present, she works with over 185 shelters.
The events are put together with the help of her 500 volunteers, mountains of donated toys and cake mixes, and monetary donations.
Vasiloff says that a lot of the stock comes from kids who send the gifts from their own birthdays.
