One man in Chicago, 34-year-old Damien Wilkerson was arrested after he allegedly killed a dog that ripped his shirt. According to Wilkerson, the garment cost $3.78.
Police officers found the dog inside a trash can. They noticed the suspect and tried to approach him, however Wilkerson ran inside his home. He later returned to the scene and complained to cops that his shirt was ripped.
According to police reports, he bluntly stated “There were two dogs. One was a puppy who ran away, and the other dog, yeah, I killed him.”
Several witnesses claimed Wilkerson got extremely angry after his clothing was torn. He reportedly jumped over a fence and beat the dog with a milk crate. The suspect continued taking out his rage on the canine, hitting the animal with sticks and rocks before stabbing and choking the dog to death.
