Simpsons Fast Food Blvd, a major part of Universal Orlando’s Simpsons expansion, opened on Saturday, June 1.
The expansion project is still underway, but one thing is for sure, it is going to be huge.
It will be the only place in the world visitors can walk the streets of Springfield, ride the Simpson’s Ride, and sip on Duff Beer, brewed exclusively for Universal Orlando.
Fast Food Blvd, which includes Krusty Burger, Moe’s Tavern, Cletus’ Chicken Shack, Frying Dutchman, and Luigi’s Pizza, is open as we speak, but the waterfront venues are expected to open by the end of June, which includes Duff Gardens.
The Simpsons is the longest running scripted show in TV history, spurring a cultural phenomenon that hasn’t slowed down since 1990.
The show, which is in its 25th season recently celebrated its historic 500th episode in February and has won 27 Emmy awards.
