Firefighters continued to battle wildfires burning out of control on Friday in Southern California.
Officials say the fires burning in the Angeles National Forest have spread across a thousand acres and are nearing power stations and utility lines.
The ordered evacuation of around 1000 people was called off after conditions improved overnight.
