A woman is reunited with stolen baby pictures.
Baby pictures are priceless to parents. A woman in Canada, Ann Perry-Smith, is able to revisit precious moments from her child’s life, thanks to a Good Samaritan and Facebook.
A roll of film was stolen from Smith approximately a decade ago after someone broke into her vehicle. A lady named Helen discovered the film in a ditch after she pulled over because of car troubles.
The sweet woman decided to develop the pictures and post them on Facebook, hoping to find the owner. Her efforts paid off, as Smith saw the photos.
She stated “My jaw just dropped. There's a picture of my husband, my baby — who's only just weeks old at the time — and my dog, laying on the bed together. And it immediately brought back all those memories and I couldn't believe that somebody had found it after all these years.”
If you are longing for a look at old pictures with friends or family, there's a good chance those might be facebook as well. Nearly 250 billion photos have been uploaded on the website so far.
