Every hour that passes, three animals or plants are being permanently eradicated from the planet. This week CNN announced that the last remaining Javan rhinoceros has been killed. We don't know if the animals horns are a cure for cancer as is the mythology and the reason they were hunted into extinction. But imagine if it's true - too bad, because there are none of them left.
