A borewell dug to quench the thirst of wedding guests turned into a trap on Wednesday in Amarrur in Palwal. The incident occurred around 4.30 pm when the victim, identified as Tannu, fell in the pit while playing. Rescue operation was underway till late night, army and the local administration took over eight hours to pull her out using JCB machines.
