President Obama joined Governor Chris Christie for a stroll along New Jersey's rebuilt boardwalk with one goal in mind --- to encourage travelers to come visit.

Just seven seven months earlier, New Jersey was reeling from Hurricane Sandy. The devastation and the government's quick response made allies of Democrat Obama and Republican Christie.
The President underscored the federal government's commitment to helping those in disaster areas recover.
