A man threatens his neighbor with an AK-47 over a rabbit argument.
Neighborly disputes can sometimes escalate far too quickly. And that conflict can quickly become life-threatening for people involved.
A man in Louisville, Rodney Wold was recently arrested after he allegedly threatened a nearby dweller with an AK-47.
The whole bizarre ordeal started when Wold noticed his next-door neighbor shooting rabbits with an air gun. The suspect became angry and went inside of his residence to grab the assault rifle.
According to a police spokesperson, Wold loaded the weapon with 19 rounds and confronted the neighbor stating “If you want to hunt something, hunt men”. Fortunately officers arrived on scene and no one was injured.
The AK-47 was later found underneath the suspect’s mattress. According to the victim’s wife, the couple has encountered problems with Wold in the past. He was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
What do you think? How should have Wold handled the situation?
