Sudan President Omar al-Bashir said he will close a pipeline that carries oil from South Sudan if Juba continues to support rebels in its soil. There has been heavy fighting between Sudanese troops and rebels in the border area of Southern Kordofan since Sunday. Khartoum says the South Sudanese government is supporting the fighters. South Sudan denies the accusations, and cutting off the pipeline would harm its neighbour's economy. Al Jazeera's Harriet Martin reports from Khartoum.
