Fire blackens a Royal Caribbean cruise ship touring the Bahamas.

The Grandeur of the Seas was diverted to Freeport after a fire on the aft mooring deck.

All 2,224 passengers and 796 crew members were safe and accounted for after the blaze.

Some guests have remained in their staterooms, while others with rooms near the site of the fire are staying in hotels while damage to the ship is being evaluated.

The cruise ship industry has recently suffered from a spate of negative publicity after a string of incidents, including a norovirus outbreak on Royal Caribbean's ship, Vision of the Seas, in March.
