1,500 pounds of pineapples fall on top of a warehouse worker.

Recently a 39-year-old male employee in Jersey City was injured after a pile on pineapples fell on top of him.

The pineapples weighed a combined 1,500 pounds. While the circumstances surrounding the accident are not clear, it is known that the insanely heavy amount came crashing down, striking the worker.

Local emergency medical service authorities were contacted and arrived on scene. Fortunately the male survived.

He was said to be conscious and in stable condition. The unidentified employee was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and observation.

In a similar incident, a man working in a New Jersey warehouse fell through a concrete floor while operating a forklift. Danny Rodriguez was fortunate to have survived.

He had been moving pallets with the piece of machinery when the ground beneath him essentially opened up. Witnesses described the massive hole as being about 30 to 40 feet wide and over 6 feet deep. The gap was filled with spilt warehouse contents including soy sauce and cooking oil.
