It was pulled up by the Supreme Court (SC) for sharing the probe report on multicrore coal scam. With the functioning of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) under scanner, the Group of Ministers (GoM) headed by Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram met for the first time. The crucial meet which also witnessed the presence of Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal, Union External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and V Narayanasamy was aimed to discuss ways to give greater autonomy to the CBI.
