An Italian beach resort manager has been spending a second day perched on a ledge of St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican demanding the end to what he calls Italy's social "massacre" and "political horror show".
It is the third time in a year that Marcello De Finizio has climbed the dome to protest against the government and EU-imposed austerity measures.
