North Korean researchers are making efforts to tackle the country's bird flu outbreak.
Reports of the disease at a Pyongyang duck farm were confirmed by the country's state news on Monday.
Video filmed by news agency KCNA for Reuters showed North Korean researchers at the country's main centre for new animal and bird diseases.
The center's chief researcher said that dozens of ducks have the virus, and as many as 160,000 have been killed in efforts to contain the flu.
North Korean authorities are checking the health of hundreds of residents as well as investigating poultry farms and the transport of living fowls.
