Legos and diamonds? Those are two objects that seem to be an unlikely combination. Nevertheless, a model has been created featuring the miniature, colorful blocks and jewelry pieces.

The lego masterpiece includes the Queen with the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge all standing on the balcony of a Lego Buckingham Palace. The display is appearing at Legoland Windsor from May 25th to the 27th. Then, the exhibit will move to the Discovery Centre in Manchester on May 31st.

The figure representing Queen Elizabeth II stands 10 centimeters high and wears a miniature crown with 48 diamonds.The entire model was made to honor and celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation.

Lego cotinues to attract a large following around the world. The thriving company is slated to open their own school for young children in Billund, Denmark in August of 2013.

The facility's British head teacher, Richard Matthews said: "Allowing time for creativity, play and getting into a state of flow is at the center of Lego's philosophy.”
