The Weather Channel came to Elevation with a storm season project brewing and we took the chance to contribute to the coverage of the 2011 storm season. Art director Dianne Frisbee and designer John Waddington worked to evolve elements from the 2010 season into a new look to be used throughout the year on hurricane and tropical storm coverage. John created a unique distressed text effect among others in Cinema 4D and After Effects for elements of the project, including opens, bumps and transitions.
