TNTLA Earth Day Movie Block

TNTLA needed something fresh for their Earth Day movie block. We wanted to the graphics to feel handmade and take it as far away from the digital world as we possibly could. That led us to the idea of grade school dioramas (you know, the ones made in a shoebox with construction paper, papier-mâché, string, popsicle sticks, and an entire bottle of Elmer's glue). While our diorama is made with Cinema 4D, we still incorporated lots of paper textures, topographic outlines and watercolor drawings to give it that organic feel. Designer John Waddington took the lead in creating worlds based on different climatic biomes like the forest, frozen tundra, and desert.
